Akeredolu To Oyegun, I Owe You My Loyalty

..As Ganduje heads Campaign Team To Rivers 

The governor-elect in just concluded governorship election in Ondo state,  Rotimi Akeredolu, has said that he owes his loyalty to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief John Oyegun, assuring that he will always abide by his instructions.

This as the Chief Oyegun charged the governor- elect to go and pay the civil servanservants in the state their wages which have been owed for months by the outgoing government.

Akeredolu who was at the National secretariat of APC yesterday to present his certificate of return to the party leadership, also promised that he will ensure that the APC will win next governorship election in Ekiti state.

Akeredolu said: “I owe you my national chairman a lot. You have done well.”

“I remember during my campaign that immediately we win Ondo we will move enmass to liberate Ekiti. I want to assure you that people are already rooting for us in Ekiti and we will win Ekiti.”

Reacting, Chief Oyegun told the governor-elect to immediately ensue the payment of worker’s salary as soon as he takes over.

He said “People who worke must deserve their pay and I hope that would be your first priority.”

Speaking on the controversial primary that led to Akeredolu emergence, Oyegun declared that “the entire process that led to him being the candidate happened before the camera.

Meanwhile, the APC has inugurated a committe for the rerun in River state with the Kano state governor Dr. Umar Ganduje, telling the party national chairman, Chief Odigie-Oyegun that his team will consult widely with the party leaders in the state,  adding that because of the lack of time he will work 24 hour to ensure Victory for the APC.

In Rivers state,  APC is standing for election in 3 senatorial district, 8 House of Representatives and 16 State House of Assembly.
