Looking forward to 2016 African Women Cup final on Saturday -Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has saluted the Super Falcons of Nigeria for defeating Banyana Banyana of South Africa 1 – 0 to qualify for the final of the 2016 African Women Cup of Nations.

The President, in his twitter handle, on Tuesday night, said the Super Falcons had made Nigeria proud again.

According to him, the country looks forward to their final match with Cameroon on Saturday.

He said: “Our Super Falcons have made Nigeria proud again. The entire country looks forward to the 2016 African Women Cup final on Saturday.’’

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Desire Oparanozie scored the only goal of the match in the 53rd minute, after a goalless half time.

The Super Falcons will now be moving to Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde for the Saturday’s Championship final with Cameroon, who had earlier defeated Ghana by a lone goal.
