Kaduna Residents Applauds el-Rufai, KAPWA Over Massive Road Construction

Residents  of Kakuri in Kaduna South local government area of Kaduna State has commended the governor Naisr el-Rufai for his foresight through the Kaduna State Public Works Agency (KAPWA) in the construction of DIC road within the area and other major roads in the state.

The residents noted that the said road and other roads undergoing construction now were abandoned by the previous administration.

The secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the ward Alhaji Umar Lawal said with the importance of Kakuri in the state as the biggest industrial area not only in Kaduna State but in the north at large but inspite of that, the previous government neglected the area.

“Severally we have complained about this road due to its importance in the state, but nothing was done about it, but I was surprised and happy to see KAPWA working on the road.‎

“On behalf of the youth and people of Kakuri, I must thank His Excellency the Kaduna State governor for appointing a serious persons especially Malam Hayatundden Lawal Makarfi as one of those who head KAPWA.

Also in a separate interview with the Secretary of Kakuri developments area Mohammed Rabiu called on KAPWA to build drainages along the on going construction work in other to make the work more qualitative.

Malam Mohammed Ishaq who is the Chairman of Islamic Scholars in the area also called on the people in the area and the state to support the present administration of Governor  El-rufai for the developmental project going on now in the state. He also  charged KAPWA to continue with the good works.
