Next Time You’re Having A Shit Day – Check Out These Pics Of People Living In Megacities
Every city, every country, every place has its issues – and if you think we have ours here in Cape Town, what with Metrorail being down for four days and taxi drivers taking ownership of the roads, just wait until you see the living conditions of Tokyo, Paris, and Hong Kong.
This photographer is Michael Wolf, and he has just released a series called “Tokyo Compressions”.
Describing the scenes, Wolf said, “It’s horrific.”
The images feature nameless faces pressed up against the windows of trains, their expression frozen in agony and surrounded by dripping condensation.
Some even wear surgical masks:
But Tokyo isn’t the only city Wolf has focused on. His most recent project, “Informal Solutions”, captured discarded materials repurposed in the back alleys of Hong Kong:

I am guessing, after looking at that, you are pretty happy with your hour-long traffic mission sitting in your car all by yourself, even if it does get you a little riled up every afternoon.
