…Players, officials smile to the bank

As Dalung, Pinnick, NASS storm Cameroon on charter flight

FROM ROMANUS UGWU, ABUJA

THE entire players and officials of the Super Falcons would have no reason to spare their host, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, in this week- end’s African Women Cup of Nations finals following the remittance of unspecified amount of money to the ladies bank accounts by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

A source at the Glass House who made the revelation to Daily Sun- Sports in Abuja, also disclosed that the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung is leading the delegation of the Nigerian contingent to cheer the team to vic- tory against their Cameroon counter- part.

The giant-killing Super Falcons who recorded a slim victory over the Bayana Bayana of South Africa in the semi-final match this week at Limbe will battle the host in the final match at the Ahmadu Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé on Saturday.

Our correspondent further gathered that the Nigerian contingent, billed to

hit Yaoundé today on a chartered flight, would include the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, Gener- al Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, few members of the Executive Committee and some members of the National Assembly Sports committees.

Our source equally disclosed that the football federation has al- ready concluded arrangement and logistics for the trip to cheer the Super Falcons, stressing that the charter flight will also carry some members of the Nigeria Football and Other Sports Supporters Club.
