Trevor Noah’s Most Heated Interview So Far – Right-Wing Hero Tomi Lahren Stops By [Video]

Trevor Noah has settled into his role as host of The Daily Show pretty smoothly, although the transition hasn’t been without criticism.

One of the more common critiques is that Trevor isn’t all that adept at hard-hitting interviews, his predecessor Jon Stewart renowned for making people squirm and allowing guests to talk themselves into a corner.

It was Trevor’s time to shine, then, when right-wing hero (and embodiment of everything White Privilege) Tomi Lahren appeared on the show.

Likening it to walking into the lion’s den, with The Daily Show’s viewers almost exclusively left-leaning and Democrat, Lahren was pressed on issues like her dismissive attitude towards the Black Lives Matter movement.

Also in the firing line was her stinging attack on anthem-kneeler Colin Kaepernick, which has been viewed close to 70 million times on her Facebook page.

That’s the scene set – hit it:

So what’s the verdict on how that played out? Of course that depends on which site you read, but here’s the Daily Beast for a start:

In the year since he took over from Jon Stewart as host of The Daily Show, Noah has hardly been known for the type of tough interviews in which his predecessor often engaged. Tomi Lahren might not have been the most challenging opponent, but tonight Noah proved he’s willing to mix it up when necessary.

Nice to know it’s not just about the giggles, T-No, although I’m sure her right-wing followers will paint an altogether different picture of who won this bout.
