Idemili is Obiano’s territory – LGA chair warns rivals

By Chimaobi Nwaiwu

Political parties contesting in the November 18, governorship election in Anambra State have been told to forget campaigning in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state, just as to expect no vote from there because their 100 percent votes belongs to incumbent Governor Willie Obiano. Chairman of the L.G.A, Transition Committee, Chief Raphael Asha Nnabuife disclosed this during the visit of the governor’s wife, Chief Ebelechukwu Obiano, to the council area.

Chief Willie Obiano

Nnabuife, said that “the people of Idemili North are happy with the Governor for his sterling performance and achievements, and it will be very dangerous for us not to return the governor for the second tenure”

“The Governor is paying salaries in the state unlike in other states of the Federation, he has provided security in the state, and people can now sleep with their two eyes open contrary to the past years, when kidnappers and armed robbers terrorized the people and residents of the state.

“We have seen what he is doing in providing light in the state, from Amansii to Head Bridge Onitsha there is light, the same thing is happening in security and agriculture, we have the best road in the country and the schools are not left out.
