BORNO BOMB BLAST: Maina Condemns Attack, Condoles Biu Emirate

The former Chairman, Presidential Task Team on Pension Reform, Dr Abdulrasheed Maina has condemned in the Strongest terms, the Suicide attack on Biu community of Borno State leaving about 30 dead and over 25 injured.
In a statement signed by his spokesman Mohammad Sabo, the attack is inhuman barbaric, unacceptable and an insult to Islamic ideals. Terrorism can not be associated with Islam, he stressed that, Boko Haram members are not Muslims as Islam is a religion of peace as preached by the holy prophet, Mohammed (SAW)
While condoling with the good families of the deceased, and of the Injured,  Maina emphasized that, the war against insurgency has been won by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, insisting that, the only thing Mr President needs is the continued support and corporation of the various communities to sustain the victory.
He maintained that, the Biu good and brave people of Borno should not relent in the area of vigilante scrutiny of suspected individuals and should not be deterred by this attack. He further urged the youth to support the Nigeria Military in combing Biu community of this menace.
Maina added that, Nigerians and indeed, the Biu people should continue to give out meaningful information that could assist and support President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief of Army Staff, Turkur Buratai on the fight against insurgency in Nigeria.
He pray Allah to forgive the departed souls of those who lost their lives and heal those injure as a result of the bomb blast which he described as a cowardly act.
