745 to Vote in Kano in Niger Republic Presidential Re-run Election

The Chairman of the Niger Republic Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) Kano Zone, Alhaji Iliyasu Sumaila, has disclosed that 745 registered eligible voters are expected to vote in Kano during the on-going second round of Niger Republic presidential election.

Iliyasu told reporters on Sunday in Kano at consulate office, explained that the eligible voters has come out to exercise thier rights to vote.

He said the voters were expected to come and cast their votes between 8am and 7pm, while he expressed satisfaction with the turnout of voters in the second leg of the presidential election.

“The election has commenced by 8am and is expected to end by 7pm. The Commission had taken all the necessary measures to ensure a hitch-free election in the Kano centre and other centres across the country”.
