Barbington Students Kidnap: Police Nab One More Suspect

Lagos State police command has arrested one more suspect involved in the kidnap of three female students of the Barbington Macauley Seminary, in Ikorodu area of Lagos State, recently.
The Police had arrested 6 suspects earlier.

Commissioner of police in charge of the command, Mr Fatai Owoseni told journalists yesterday at the command headquarters, Ikeja, that the police had arrested one more suspect.

Although the commissioner of police did not talk about how, where, when and the name of the suspect, but police had earlier arrested six of the suspects that perpetrated the dastardly act.
The kidnappers were said to have gone to the school and after shooting sporadically into the air, abducted Timilehin Olisa, Tofunmi Popoolaniyan and Deborah Akinayo.

Owoseni had earlier said that the families of kidnapped victims did not pay any ransom before they were rescued and arrested three of the suspects before arresting another three.

The kidnappers had demanded for N300m ransom which they later reduced to N10m before the victims were released without payment of  a dime.
