One thing we find very disturbing that has caused so much hardship to the people of rural communities is the issue of culverts and bridges that cut them off from other communities during the rainy season.” Said Almakura.

He stated that about 33 bridges and box culverts has marked in the Northern part of the state.

Almakura warned those who have sheltered themselves in forest reserved areas of Akurda and airstrip in Angwan Rere.

All those people who encroached on those lands should vacate them as soon as possible because government would take physical possession of the land in no distant future.” He said.

Almakura said the contract will be awarded to Triacta Nigeria Limited due to their credibility and timely completion of projects.
