Nigerian Director, Lancelot Imasuen Lands Multi-Million Naira Deals With Nigerian Police, Nollytv

Nigeria Police has commissioned celebrated film director Lancelot Imasuen to produce a TV series, “Beyond Your Sight”. This series centers on a true life investigative exploits of the Nigeria Police.

Already, Lancelot is on a location, in Abuja, shooting 13-6 episode of the TV series.

The TV series will be the flagship on how the Police should be perceived by the public,” Lancelot said.

“For the first time, we are going to have a Nigeria Police sponsored production with all the Police equipment and uniform on parade. 

However, on the Nollywtv deal, D’Guvon as he’s fondly called by his fans and colleagues, will be producing about ten quality movies subsequently for the online TV platform within the next one year. 
This is coming as, sequel to the success recorded by his epic movie, “Invasion 1897”, which broke new grounds at the international scene last year, Imasuen  landed another big deal as he signs a multi-million naira production contract with a online TV platform, Nollytv.

The project, HVP gathered would kick off next month in Abuja with the production of such short movies as “The Girls are Not Smiling”, and York upon the Hill.”

Overwhelmed by the new deal, the celebrated director said, “I am excited and honoured to be chosen pilot this big project. It speaks volume of how much my works are appreciated by the people, given the number of years I have put in, in the industry. I can only it my best shot.”
