The arraignment has now been fixed for Wednesday, April 20.

Naij.com gathered that the arraignment was stalled because the judge is away at a conference and no court will be sitting today.

Meanwhile, the EFCC had earlier said it was ready to arraign Kuku in absentia.

Kuku is alleged to have been involved in corrupt practices during his tenure as a special adviser.

He is also alleged to have conspired with others to award contracts to companies illegally.

He is to be arraigned alongside two of his former aides, Lawrence Pepple (technical assistant on reintegration to the special adviser on Niger Delta affairs) and Henry Nonso Ugbolue (special assistant, media & communication to the special adviser on Niger Delta affairs).

They are to be tried on two separate charges of criminal conspiracy, false declaration of assets and fraudulent acquisition of property.
