Gombe: Dankwambo appoints Haruna Garba head of Amirul Hajj team

Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has approved the appointment of a 16-member Amirul Hajj team for the year 2017.
The team is to be Chaired by His Excellency, Ambassador Haruna Garba, a former Nigeria’s  Ambassador to Kuwait.

Other Members of the team include; Hon. Aishatu MB Ahmed, Hon. Usman  Muhammad Ribadu, Hon. Abdullahi Pindiga, Hon. Miji Tilde, Hon. Justice Abubakar Jauro, Hon. Justice Adamu Usman, Sheik Adamu Dokoro, Sheik Hamza Adamu Abdulhamid.

Others are; Malam Salisu Muhammad Gombe, Malam Bashir Ladan, Dr. Muhammad Lawan, Alh. Gambo Isari, Alh. Idi Maipachi, Abdullahi DanGombe Filiya and Sheik Zakariya Ajiya to serve as the Secretary of the Team.

In a Statement signed by the Acting Secretary to the State Government, James Pisaghi JP,  Governor Dankwambo charged the team with the responsibilities which include; the oversight of the  2017 hajj as well as resolving any operational problem(s) that might arise in  the conduct of hajj and supervise and complement the efforts of the Muslim Pligrims Welfare Board Secretariat which has direct responsibility for the Hajj exercise.

Governor Dankwambo also congratulated the Chairman and his team members and wished them the best in discharging their duties.
