Movie stars, diplomats, others celebrate Abraham Nwankwo with ‘Tatu’ premiere

THE stage is set for the premiere of the anticipated epic adventure movie, ‘Tatu.’The movie, which was produced by Bank of Industry and Patriarch Technologies in conjunction with FilmOne Production and FilmOne Distribution, will be premiered with all pomp and pageantry at the prestigious Eko Hotel Convention Centre on the 22nd of July, 2017.

Shot in scenic locations across Lagos and Ibadan, the movie ‘Tatu’ is a contemporary take on the classic African epic adventure story, a fast paced action drama which centered around the conflict arising from a mother’s quest to have a child and all the complications that followed.

Produced and directed by the award-winning producer of famous ‘Taxi Driver’ (Oko Ashewo), and the mega block buster smash hit ‘The Wedding Party’, Don Omope, the suspense filled movie is adapted from a book written by the prolific author Dr Abraham E. Nwankwo, the recently retired DG of DMO.

Speaking on the movie, Don omope who is also Creative Director, FilmOne production and distribution said “Tatu’ is a well-crafted movie and has all the hallmarks to become another smash hit success. It’s my 3rd collaboration with cinematographer Akpe Ododoru and we spent a year developing this script from book to film.”

Starring Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliott, Toyin Aimakhun-Abraham, Gabriel Afolayan, Rahama Sadau, Sambaza Nzeribe, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Hafiz Oyetoro (saka), Frank Dunga among others, the premiere will be the centre piece of a bigger celebration that will bring together heads of many key industries from finance, banking, government and diplomats to celebrate the retirement of Dr. Abraham Nwankwo from a distinguish civil service career.
